12 Tribes - full view

The Lord inspired me to paint this painting of His heart, which is Israel, featuring  the main Israeli waterways, the 12 tribes, the golden banner of the Lord, and column-capitols at the bottom corners that curve to look upon the Lord’s compassion.

Much of this piece is done with metallic paint, which I feel literally reflects the Lord’s light in love and glory in His mercy.

Blessings in Christ,
Leah Stone

  1. Leah,

It’s really good to see creative Christian art. Am I right in thinking that the twelve grey “trunks” in front of the banner signify the twelve tribes?

If so, is there a reason why they are all different sizes? Does it relate to the size of the tribe in some way? That’s also an interesting choice of colour for the waterways? It’s almost got a lifeblood kind of feel.

  2. Marc,

thanks, glad you enjoy the piece … yes lifeblood, exactly, and all the trunks for tribes including two-as-one for Joseph (at the bottom) but that’s the only one designated.
