Gay Rights: Don’t Ask, Don’t Think

Feb 6th, 2010 | By Frank Turek | Category: Featured Articles, Law & Politics, News

The central argument in favor of same-sex marriage or overturning “Don’t ask don’t tell” contains a fatal flaw. In fact, this is the flaw at the heart of the entire gay rights movement.

Joint Chief Chairman Adm. Michael Mullen dutifully proclaimed the flaw as truth the other day when speaking in favor of ending the “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” [...]

Science Doesn’t Say Anything - Scientists Do

Dec 5th, 2009 | By Frank Turek | Category: News, Philosophy & Science

You can’t put honesty in a test tube.
“Science” doesn’t say anything—scientists do.
Those are a couple of the illuminating conclusions we can draw from the global warming [...]

Country a Mess? Blame the Church

Aug 11th, 2009 | By Frank Turek | Category: Culture

As our great country accelerates its slide into economic and moral Hell, be careful whom you blame. The present boldness of liberals and timidity of conservatives are only the secondary causes. Much of the blame can be placed at the foot of the church. [...]

Sleeping with your Girlfriend

Jun 19th, 2009 | By Frank Turek | Category: Philosophy & Science

My friend David has a knack for cutting through the smokescreens people throw up when they’re trying to avoid making commitments, be they commitments to God or to other people. Last week, with one comment, he blew away all the smoke that a young agnostic was hiding behind. It was a demonstration of tremendous insight, and it required some courage to say. [...]

Jesus and the Case for War

Apr 23rd, 2009 | By Frank Turek | Category: Scripture

I like to strike up conversations with people I meet while traveling. Last Tuesday, on the way back to San Francisco airport, I asked the driver where he was from. “Jordan,” he replied.

In an effort to make a connection, I mentioned that I haven’t gotten to Jordan, but I went to Iran in 2006 and served in Saudi Arabia with the Navy twenty years ago. [...]

Why You OUGHT to Judge

Mar 12th, 2009 | By Frank Turek | Category: Law & Politics

At least one lesbian is not happy with me for the case I made last week against same-sex marriage on our TV program. She wrote me this ALL CAPS e-mail with “VERY JUDGEMENTAL” in the subject line:

ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE ME AND I AM A CHRISTIAN LESBIAN AND HAVE BEEN FOR ALMOST 20 YEARS. [...]

Gay Marriage: Even Liberals Know It’s Bad

Dec 18th, 2008 | By Frank Turek | Category: Law & Politics

Why not legalize same-sex marriage? Who could it possibly hurt? Children and the rest of society. That’s the conclusion of David Blankenhorn, who is anything but an anti-gay “bigot.” He is a life-long, pro-gay, liberal democrat who disagrees with the Bible’s prohibitions against homosexual behavior. Despite this, Blankenhorn makes a powerful case against Same-Sex marriage in his book, The Future of Marriage [...]

The Preposterous Premise for Gay Marriage

Dec 10th, 2008 | By Frank Turek | Category: Law & Politics

After the passage of Prop 8 in California, homosexuals are still howling that they don’t have “equal rights.”  Hopefully, the California Supreme Court will respect the equal rights of voters by affirming Prop 8 because the howls of homosexuals [...]
